Constituent Services

One of the most important jobs a Congressman can do is respond to the needs of his constituents.  During the past 23 years, tens of thousands of constituents have called upon Rick in their time of need, whether it be a problem with social security, a black lung claim or the need to receive an emergency passport to visit a sick relative.  Since January 1983, Rick has been called upon over 130,000 times by his constituents and he has always worked to provide assistance whenever possible.

 

In addition, during Rick’s service in office, he has hosted thousands of town meetings around the Ninth District to inform citizens of the important issues before the Congress and to listen to the concerns of Southwest Virginia’s residents.

 

Rick stands ready to assist Southwest Virginia’s residents, and he will continue to provide these valuable services in the future.
